How do we work? What makes WDA Agency effective?

  • Our managing partners are based in Sydney, Australia and we work as a directly connected remote team with colleagues in Brisbane, Manila & elsewhere. This means we have very low overheads, which are reflected in our prices. It also means we can effectively service the whole of Australia and New Zealand.

  • One of our founders, Janelle Williams, created Williams Design Associates and Campaigntrack, which grew over 25+ years into the largest residential real estate ad agency and marketing management platform in Australia. It was acquired in 2022 by the Domain Group. As industry pioneers in property and real estate agency marketing, our team has extensive experience in that vertical, unmatched in the industry. WDA Agency was founded on the need for an expert, bespoke yet lower cost digital marketing capability and has found there is a welcome market for this type of business.

  • Real Estate Property and Agency marketing isnt like general advertising. Its only through years of experience you get an understanding on the market dynamics, buyer and client profiles and even the unique attributes of each geographic area. Whilst anyone could, in theory, produce digital marketing campaigns for development sites, properties or real estate agencies - without the right knowledge from the outset its highly unlikely to be as effective as a true expert. By focussing on this vertical market, we can bring our years of experience to the table in helping our clients. We often work with creative design agencies, or ad agencies working on the brand identity, print and signage aspects of campaigns.

  • Let’s start with the mainstay ad platforms of Facebook/Instagram and Google Ads. We believe each of these brings its own unique advantages, which is why our campaigns almost always are multi-channel. Facebook/Instagram is great for generating passive buyer enquiry and often remarketing reminders. Google Search ads work the best for active buyers who are actively searching for specific types of properties. Google Display ads are a relatively low cost (per impression) means of expanding the exposure of your ads, to both active and passive buyers/clients whilst being an excellent remarketing channel also. Depending on budget and property type or real estate agency locale, we may recommend supplementing with Youtube, LinkedIn ads. We have not found TikTok to be effective due to its very limited geotargeting capabilities and typical user profile. But we’re always researching, testing and learning to find the best mix in the moment for each client.
